This week’s podcast features a discussion with Cory Gorski of Volt 9000. We’ve been tracking the Toronto band since our first year here at the site, and it’s been great to track the band’s evolution (and heck, we even let them take over the site for a day last week), though we’ve never had the chance to formally talk with Cory about the band in detail…until now. New record Timeshift is radically different from the band’s previous work, and we were keen to dig into its themes and history with Cory. All that, plus some discussion about the upcoming shindig we’ll be a part of, and so much more (okay, it’s just the usual extraneous bullshit) on this episode of We Have A Technical. download directly, or stream from the widget below!
1) Keep Blabity Schloo music in mind for your next April Fools post, please!
2) Since you brought up comic recs, I would highly recommend Black Science being published by Image. Really epic, universe-hopping science fiction. Engaging characters, gorgeous art.
Hey Lawrence! I’ll give the first collection of Black Science a shot! My needs for that style of comic are being met by Manhattan Projects, which I greatly enjoy, but there’s a little room on the pull list right now for something new!
