We Have a Technical 97: Thirty Three and a Bird
On this episode of the official I Die: You Die podcast we talk about two very different albums joined by a simple idea: they represent artists stepping out of their most obvious influences into a wider world of musical ideas. It’s a one-two punch of classic goth rock and electro-industrial with Rosetta Stone and Necro Facility! Also, we’re breaking down the just announced Cold Waves line-up, the Depeche Mode march madness brackets, and taking care of all the dark music scene biz on the latest installment of the We Have a Technical! –The Tea Party, “Babylon”
–Far Cry 4
–Pee Wee’s Big Holiday
oh how i miss dancing for hours and hours in the dark covered in black velvet to Rosetta Stone.
Still a weekly ritual round here. (Not really, but I have to maintain appearances)
I would suggest not asking Porl King about RS he hates the band.
Instead he’s doing In Death It Ends which is the same song 100 times over.
The main music guy behind Necro Facility, Oscar Holter, is now a part of Max Martin / Shellback’s producer team “Wolf Cousins” and have been involved with both Adam Lambert and Christina Aguilera and MANY more 🙂 Just a cool tidbit.
Just checked that out! Wow, we had no idea! He even has a writing credit on Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Run Away With Me” which is a great song!
And the new Pink single too! 🙂
