We’re getting pretty excited about all that comes with our annual trip to Calgary for Terminus: reuniting with ye olde Industrial Summer Camp gang, seeing the plethora of acts new and old, familiar and foreign, and of course nipping over to Tubby Dog for veggie franks smothered in PBJ and Cap’n Crunch (for real). In anticipation, we got on the horn with Chris Hewitt, head honcho of Terminus and Dickens. Chris was very forthright about Terminus’ accidental origins, the experience of putting the festival together each year on the back-end, and what his broader philosophies are concerning booking. Loved this. Mega jelly that I can’t get to Terminus. I’ll be attending a two night, 12 band event in Dallas in August that will sate my need for live Industrial.
Still, I’d probably sell my kidney to see Chrysalide if they came back. They are quickly becoming one of my favorites.
I hope it is a blast, grows, and keeps that amazing atmosphere, so I can fly up in 2016!
