Hello Guys,
thank you for this excellent podcast once again.
I was at PlanetMyer day this year.
Newt started 15 minutes ahead of the timetable but I’ve been able to see the whole show.
I’m not familliar with Newt sound so I don’t know if they played new material, but it was very progressive (maybe because they played first amongst 5 other bands to come) from ambient kind of idm to glitchy Drum and Bass with Dr Myer signature in beats. Sound quality was perfect and I heard a lot of sound research in weird pads there.
The best Front 242 perf I’ve ever seen. They left the acid/trancy stuff aside but kept the real drum and the energy. That was the Front 242 I always wanted to see and being there in such a small place (I always saw them at festival) was a privilege. The audience was perfect.
Haujobb set was shorter than at the WGT maybe but the sound quality in the venue was better (at least where I was placed in the crowd, at Aggra, I was in the front row).
Blak Color was…less “dark colored” than what I saw previously from them but the presentation has been enhanced.
Daniel came with an …MPC live on stafe at the end to jam a little. Nice !
Spit Mask…well I was aware about the sound quality of their live show. This is something they really need to improve but I also had good time : Something Weird Video/sleazy movies quizz and not that far from Youth Code / Statiqbloom universe which is mine. But they need to rework their live master “tape”.
