We Have a Technical 188: Mayo Dip (Vegan)
Our annual off-topic podcast lands with a resounding thud, as the Senior Staff chatter endlessly about working at bars, Rupaul’s Drag Race, pro-wrestling and more! Yes, you’ll thrill to lengthy anecdotes that go nowhere and hideously uncomfortable recollections of Dean Koontz novels as Bruce and Alex finish their year in a haze of nonsense with none of the incisive commentary or trenchant insight you’ve come to expect. Face it tigers, you just hit the jackpot! If you like you can rate and subscribe on iTunes, Google Play Music, download directly or stream from the widget down below. Or don’t this week, we wouldn’t blame you.
I do love the off-topic podcasts you guys do yearly. I was wondering if you guys have some recommendations on other podcasts you enjoy? I’d be very interested to check out some of the other things you guys enjoy that you may or may not talk about much on the podcast.
Cheers and I hope you have a great new year!
Thanks for your kind words, and best to you in 2018! Both Bruce and I listen to a number of podcasts relating to our personal interests. The ones that we mututally listen to that have the broadest appeal are probably The Flophouse, a hysterically funny bad movies podcast that has been going for 10 years and is consistently very entertaining, and I Don’t Even Own a Television, a bad books podcast which is also pretty entertaining, even when they’re talking about a book we have fond memories of *cough*Dragonlance*cough*.
Heheh. Finally listened to this one. As a gentleman of a certain vintage, I also graduated, more or less, from Hardy Boys Case Files to Dean (R!) Koontz novels, though I haven’t read the particular novel mentioned in the podcast (which seems to be The Face of Fear). The Wikipedia summary was strangely (thankfully?) silent on the weird extending penis metaphor.
