We Have a Technical 84: Son of a Shape
Well folks, the plan for our annual off topic podcast’s always been to have a few beverages and yammer about whatever was on our mind, and sadly Monday night gave us more than enough reason to drink a large number of jack and cokes and reminisce. The passing of Lemmy’s obviously what’s on everyone’s mind this week and we’re no exception, but we also touch on just how wonderfully weird hip hop was this year, the incredible ascent of Sasha Banks, and dealing with the less pleasant parts of HP Lovecraft’s work. You guys had me at the picture of Pentagon Jr. I truly enjoyed the rap and wrestling talk.
Thanks!
Bayley / Sasha at TakeOver: Brooklyn was my match of the year too. It really brought back the kinds of feelings I used to have watching pro wrestling as a kid in a way not even the really hot late 90s WCW/WWF ever did.
Also, I can’t agree with you guys enough about NXT. As someone who migrated away from the WWE product for almost a decade, seeing people gush online about NXT finally made me give it a chance in early 2015 and I was blown away by how good it is in comparison to their main roster product.
