Thank you so much for even discussing that Urceus Exit album. It’s such an amazing piece of work. Great production and catchy songs with deep lyrics. I wish the album would have received the notice and acclaim it deserved. I hope he’s still making music in some capacity.
He is! Check out his work as Kafka, in a more techno vein. https://bodypoliticrecordings.bandcamp.com/album/more-castles
Hey fellas,
Just wanted to say that your album commentary on Transhuman Condition kicked off a whole new era for me in getting back into paying attention to what’s out there nowadays in industrial and related genres. Previous to getting into your podcast a year or two back my exposure to new music was entirely through the club scene. As you’re well aware, that’s not always a recipe for forward-looking these days. I hadn’t bought or started following anyone new for years and years before picking up Transhuman Condition, and since then I’ve undergone something of a Renaissance in music. I’m going to shows again and actually excited about new acts and material. So keep flogging the Encephalon thing – it’s having the desired effect!
Love your work, keep it up.

Awesome to hear, Patrick, thanks so much! Like we were saying on this episode, THC really was the perfect launching point for ID:UD, so it’s awesome to hear that it got you psyched about new music again. Comments like this are EXACTLY why we work on the site. 🙂
Thanks for letting us know Patrick! Really good to hear folks are feeling that record, and new music in general.
